K. Stephens
With a B.A. in Magazine Journalism and an M.A. in Writing and Publishing, K. Stephens has lived in Maine for nearly 18 years. Stephens is a freelance writer with a specialty in arts, entertainment and the creative economy in Maine. Her articles, columns and essays have appeared in local and regional newspapers and magazines. The work on this debut novel spanned eight years, with input from Monhegan and midcoast lobstermen, including Survivor's Zoe Zanidakis and author of The Lobster Gangs of Maine, James Acheson.
